I was born in Hannover, Germany, into a musical family.
My parents encouraged my creativity greatly, enabling me to learn the piano from a very early age.
At thirteen I took up the double bass, and playing the bass has become my ‘day job’. I relocated to the United Kingdom to continue my studies and was fortunate enough to join the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester.

Working at the Hallé has given me countless fantastic opportunities as a composer, arranger and writer and I hope it will continue to do so in the future, bearing in mind that at the time of writing we are in the middle of a world-wide pandemic, which has put a stop to live music as we’ve known it.

I have always adored the written word, and I am delighted that we are now able as self-published authors to get our stories out to you, dear reader, so fairly easily.

As far as Lukas Novak’s journey is concerned – there is one more book to write and then the 5 book series will be complete!
